Community Meeting Sunday after Worship
This Community Meeting will feature the 2023 Budget, A Resolution in need of support from New Brighton UCC, and an update from our Reparations Team.
Please plan to stay a bit later on Sunday. Pr. Rachael will try to keep the service a little shorter to accommodate the meeting. Just know that you’ll need to be on Zoom or in the room after worship ends. We have important business to discuss and come to consensus around. Every one is welcome to participate even if you are not an “official” member of Living Table.
The agenda includes: the 2023 Budget, a Resolution supporting freedom of education from New Brighton UCC, and an update from our Reparations Team.

I love how we listen to each other and truly use consensus to make decisions.
No one loses and there are opportunities for all the wisdom of all the folks present to be heard.
I agree with Sandy. I think it’s one of the best things about Living Table.
Sandy, I was highly skeptical about the consensus process when I first arrived at Living Table. Now, though, I cannot imagine ever going back to Robert’s Rules. Consensus is much more inclusive as you point out.
