Advocate for Indigenous Rights and Climate Justice on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light is joining forces with the Rise and Repair Alliance and you are invited. The goal is advocate for passage of Minnesota’s Senate Bill SF 1247 (the Wild Rice Act).
The adoption of other policy proposals that promote Indigenous rights and climate justice will also be discussed.
MN Senate Bill SF 1247, the Wild Rice Act, is designed to protect natural stands of Minnesota’s State Grain Wild Rice, known as Manoomin to the Anishinaabe and Psiŋ to the Dakota, to whom this grain is sacred.
They are asking for those of us who are able to join hundreds of Minnesotans from across the state to advocate for this important bill and other policy proposals that push for Indigenous rights and climate justice.
You can find out more information on the 3rd Consecutive March 12 Rally & Lobby Day
