New Branches is participating in the Nokomis East Neighborhood Garage Sale on Saturday, June 3, 2023 and your help is needed!

Here is the digital sign-up sheet with all the ways in which you can help. You will also be able to sign up on Sunday morning.
We have particular need for folx who can help set up tables at 7 on Saturday morning and folx who can help clean up at 3 in the afternoon.

What Can I Donate?

We’ll be accepting gently used household items weighing 20 pounds or less. Clothing may also be donated if it is in wearable condition. Many items, such as clothing, will go on “Pay what you can” tables. If you have items of greater value, please price them before bringing them to New Branches.

When Can I Bring My Items

Please bring your items to New Branches Sunday, May 28, 2023 or any of the following days and times:

    Tuesday, May 30, 2023 between 10 am and 1 pm
    Wednesday, May 31, 2023 between 10 am and 12 pm or 4 – 6 pm
    Thursday, June 1, 2023 between 10 am and 1 pm

If you are volunteering on Saturday, June 3, you may bring your items with you.

What Will the Proceeds Go To?

Any funds raised at this sale will go to support New Branches’ presence at Pride 2023. Any additional funds will be donated to the Nokomis East Renters Fund sponsored by Nokomis East Neighborhood Association.

All unsold items will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul.

    • Yes, Dorothy, New Branches is participating in the garage sale. We are seeking volunteers from all three communities.

  1. I have two bicycles and an outdoor reclining chair to donate but I don’t want them to be given away for practically nothing. How will prices be set?

    • Tom, it would be a great help if you price your items as you see fit. Then you’ll know they won’t be underpriced.
