Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the Living Table website, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for the Living Table website:
The Bulletin documents (in both Word and PDF formats) uploaded each week may not fully meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) although we believe that they do. We recommend using the pdf format for greater accessibility, and we only provide the docx format because we have been asked to do so, for accessibility of a visitor unable to access modern pdf documents.
Because our bulletin documents change weekly, we are not able to always know that something we have changed may have made our bulletin documents in accessible. If you are unable to access the bulletin or navigate within it, in either docx or pdf format, please contact us to let us know what you need specifically. We will make you a custom file that allows you to access the content. You can use the “report issue” form below or call or write or mail or tell us in person. Please note that we are striving to make the bulletin downloads fully WCAG compliant and are not aware of any specific reasons they are not accessible at this time.
Living Table United Church of Christ assessed the accessibility of the Living Table website by the following approaches:
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within one business day, and to propose a solution within 10 business days should you be dissatisfied with our response to you.
