Sana is hosting Queering the Bible on Saturday March 1, 2025 and you're invited.
One Day Bible Intensive – Queering the Bible
March 1, 2025, 9 am – 4 pm, Suggested donation is $75 with a sliding scale.
In-person at Northeast United Methodist Church, facilitated by 40 Orchards, hosted by Sana D. and New City UMC.
40 Orchards will facilitate a Bible study intensive on queerness and the Bible. Join with others who are ready to question theological concepts that no long fit with how we experience the world.
Spend the day searching for more wholeness and freedom round old doctrinal bricks. These are guided communal conversations capped at 12 participants.
40 Orchards Bio
40 Orchards offers studies in small groups called Scripture Circles. In these Circles every question is welcomed, every voice is valued, and everyone has a place. We use the practice of circling and midrash to explore biblical texts, blending group insights with foundational knowledge of the original language, history, and culture.
Our goal is to expand one another’s understanding of what is sacred, whole, and good.
