This festival, sponsored by the local business association, will be held the first weekend in August. Stores have sidewalk sales and give out prizes; organizations have open houses.

New Branches is participating on Saturday, Aug. 3. The building will be open from 10 am until 3 pm, with activities scheduled from 11 to 2. We will have food, music, children’s games, Pride activities, drumming, and quilting and also be a place to come in out of the sun (or, this year, maybe rain).

Volunteers are needed for all these events, as well as for general setting up and taking down. You’ll want to sign up early so you can invite your family and friends to come visit during your scheduled time.

This promises to be a great day of welcoming visitors to New Branches and the three faith communities.
