The Work of Reparations: Why and How
Hosted by Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church
Wednesday, Dec. 11
5:30 – 6:30 pm
Small Sanctuary
What comes after the land acknowledgment? Come together to explore one path toward action.
Watch Sacred Reckonings – a short documentary featuring interviews with Black, Indigenous, and White leaders in the reparation movement sharing stories and reflecting on the work needed within White churches to engage the reparatory process.
Discuss our reactions, fears, hopes, and questions – personally and as a community. How could this work prepare us to ‘do justice’ in a meaningful way?
