Council has renewed the weather policy for Sunday Circle and Worship shifting to all Zoom, no one in person, when weather conditions make in-person attendance potentially unsafe. In particular:

  • If the weather services describe dangerous driving conditions and/or advise no travel

  • If the actual temperature is -10 or colder

  • If the windchill is -20 or below

When applicable, the decision will be made and posted on the website by Saturday at 5 pm.

We will stick to the decision even if the the weather then changes at the last minute and becomes better on Sunday morning. For example, if 10 inches of snow is predicted for Saturday night the announcement will be made to switch to Zoom only for Sunday morning. If the snow fails to arrive, we will remain on Zoom only for that Sunday morning.

If you have questions about the weather policy, please ask a Council member or Pr. Rachael, or leave a comment below.

  1. Thank you for creating the weather policy and for putting it into action! I feel much better knowing that I’ll be attending Living Table service online.
I have a sympathy card for Pastor Terrell and his family which I will bring on Sunday, January 26 so that our members can sign.
    Stay warm everyone!
