You won't want to miss Advent at Living Table this year!

We are changing things up for the Advent season. You won’t need to bring any readings for the liturgy until after Epiphany, which we will observe on January 11th.

Our theme for Advent is “Words for the Beginning” and the images throughout will be different quilts. Quilts have a long history of meaning for families and communities. They are a symbol of our need for comfort and home as well as a reminder that we are all intimately connected, stitched together if you will.

This week is the first Sunday in Advent and the “Words for the Beginning” are “You are a blessing.” The traditional theme for this week is “Hope.” Being a blessing can give us hope for sure. Come and find out what a thimble has to do with all of this.
