Sacred Reckonings: White Settler-Colonizer Churches Doing the Work of
Reparations

leads Christian congregations from initial inklings toward reparations through congregational assessment and organizing to celebration of concrete reparations plans.

United Theological Seminary is hosting a five-part in-person and online training to practice tools and exercises from the online workbook and build a cross-congregational community of reparations do-ers.

Tuition is $250 per individual or $750 per congregational team.

Visit Two Rivers Art Gallery at the Minneapolis American Indian Center

1530 E. Franklin Ave. Two Rivers Art Gallery exposes local emerging Native artists by providing a space to exhibit work, nurture creativity, and provide professional development.

Two Rivers is a space for the community to build relationships and to collaboratively
strengthen Native art and artistic voices within the Twin Cities. The gallery is open
Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Center and Gallery are closed for
federal holidays.

One of the top two stories is about Leonard Peltier’s return to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Reservation in North Dakota. The other is about the economic impact on tribes of the cuts to federal grants and programs.

Rev. Dr. Rachael Keefe is the pastor of Living Table United Church of Christ. She was called to Living Table in 2015 after serving in many varied ministry settings since her ordination in 1992. She holds graduate degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary and Andover Newton Seminary at Yale (formerly Andover Newton Theological School). Her ministry and leadership often center around advocacy and accessibility. Her writing has been published by Chalice Press, The Christian Century, Red Letter Christians, Working Preacher, RevGalBlogPals, and others.
