Welcome to this Circle is a beautiful song that some people associate with Living Table.

I love this song. I also needed a post in the Musical Notes category to test the new website functionality, so I thought this would be a good little post to bring the Musical Notes blog category to life. I first heard this song at Living Table, and it felt like it was written for them, because Living Table’s intentionality with welcoming people to this circle, to the table, is palpable.

“Welcome to this Circle”
Music and lyrics by Trish Bruxvoort Cooligan of The River’s Voice (Visit The River’s Voice website).

I could not find an audio-only version online to which I could link, nor a properly captioned video, so I am including the lyrics to this beautiful song.

Welcome to this circle where love and grace abound.
We honor your journey, and wherever you are bound.
We will walk beside you, encourage you on your way
Celebrate your spirit, and hold you as we pray.

There is love for one like you.
There is grace enough to see you though.
And wherever you have walked, whatever path you choose,
May you know there is love for one like you.

  1. I agree about “Welcome to this Circle”. I also really appreciated hearing the organ feature being utilized on Easter Sunday 2023 and it has been a long time since we have sung “You are Holy” which was always a highlight to our service. This Sunday it was obvious we were out of practice doing the “rounds” during “You are Holy” so please lets do it more often.
