Raffle Details

The prize is a full-size, home-made custom cornhole board set cut to regulation size, including a set of 16 ounce proper cornhole bags ready for game play. The NCAA “M” decals are licensed. The paint color-matches the decals. The legs fold in. The boards have a carrying handle, and these things are rather heavy.

This raffle is hosted by Living Table UCC and is cash-only (please).

$5 for one ticket or $20 for five tickets.

Folks who bought tickets earlier are all set. Please standby for an email from Erika confirming your ticket numbers, including bonus tickets if you donated $20 or more.

If you are attending Living Table via Zoom and want to purchase raffle tickets electronically, talk to Pastor Rachael.

The digital drawing is Friday, June 23, 2023 at 6pm Central time via YouTube Live, and you can watch it happen. You do not need to tune in to know that you’ve won. The winner will be contacted.

Update: The winner is Sally, who had ticket# 054!

By default, the prize will be available for the winner to pickup at New Branches on Sunday June 25. Alternatively, the winner may arrange to pick up the prize in West Saint Paul on another day/time. The winner will need to come collect their prize from one of these places. Delivery is not offered.

All collected funds from this raffle are going directly to a rural coffee farming community in Honduras. Rabbi Amy and Dr. Miguel visited Living Table a few years ago (some of you may remember them). Rabbi Amy will be here Sunday for the raffle to answer questions and to share updates about this community. Come say hi!

You can also learn a lot more about them by checking out their long-standing GoFundMe. Importantly, 100% of funds there go directly to the community as well, same day. There is no overhead. Even the transaction fees have been covered, as Amy and her wife personally repay them. That means if you donate $5 then a family in Honduras gets to eat $5 of food, or buy $5 of medicine or school supplies today, all locally-sourced.

This is how we love our neighbors. See you Sunday!
