Meet Our Seminary Intern for Spring 2024
Sana DelCorazón (she/they) is the queer daughter of Puerto Rican migrants who grew up Pentecostal in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After earning a Master’s degree in Public Affairs (Princeton University) and a Master’s in Social Work (Smith College), Sana worked in social services and community mental health. Although this was satisfying work, God had another plan.
In 2020 Sana finally pursued her call to ministry. She is in her final year at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, where they are pursuing a Masters in Divinity, UCC studies and MA in Ethics and Justice. They are a member in discernment (MID) with the United Church of Christ and hope to be ordained. Sana is interested in the evolution of the church, pneumatology, the intersection of racial justice, queer & liberation theology and the beloved community.
Sana lives with her spouse (Gina), son (Toño), dog (Charlie) and cat (Pickles) in South Minneapolis, MN. She enjoys dancing, writing, creating spaces for womyn of color, building community and cooking. They are a trained Spiritual Director through Still Harbor.
Find out more about Sana at their website.
