Believe it or not, it’s time to start planning for Lent. The Ritual Arts Team (RAT) will meet on January 18, at 6:30 pm. Anyone is welcome to join us, even if you have not served on the RAT previously. If you have ideas for Lent themes or activities, please join us. If you have ideas and aren’t able to join the team, please leave them in the comments.

The Zoom link to this meeting can be found in the Dashboard. To access the dashboard, log in to this website. For more information about how to do this, read posts in the Tech News section.

We will need artists, writers, readers, actors, and musicians as well as planners, and people to do set up and clean up. We need you! Also watch for future announcements, but join us this Wednesday to help begin planning for Lent.

If you have questions about RAT and how it works and what it does, please talk to Kevin or Pr. Rachael.

  1. The planning/writing isn’t my thing.

I will gladly help with the setup and take down of the sanctuary and reading as availability allows.

  2. The Advent RAT was really fun. We had lots of discussions about music, art, Bible passages, etc. We got to be creative in new ways. Having meetings on Zoom is easier than caring a computer to the church, although meeting in person was enjoyable. It would be good to have new faces.

  3. I have to really look at my commitments and make decisions where to put my energy. So, I’m thinking it over, but will decide by 1/18. I’d also suggest we at least look at what Marcia McFee has prepared. Her stuff for Lent 2023 is already developed, I think.
