A BIG Thank You and a Few Reminders
Thank you all for the lovely gift for Pastors’ Appreciation Month. I will totally enjoy the “cheese” as I recover from surgery. And it always makes me laugh to think of Living Table taking over a celebration that started at Focus on the Family. Well done!
Another thank you to whomever it was who called into the Christian radio station. I received an email with a link to that. That is also fun for me!
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to pastor among all of you. Can you believe it has been almost 10 years?!
While I am out this week, I want you all to remember a couple of things. One, Wednesday night services of Hope and Healing continue (in person or using the regular Worship link). Kevin will be leading this week, and I should be back for the last one on the 30th which will be a communion service.
Doug is preaching this week. The scripture is Job 42:1-6, 10-17 and the theme is: Repentance can lead us in the ways of restoration. Don’t forget to bring a reading to share in worship.
I plan to be back for the All Saints’ Day service on November 3. We will light candles in remembrance and the theme will be living into God’s dream based on Isaiah 25:6-9.
Thank you all for your support! See you in a week or so.
