We are at the beginning of Advent and there is plenty of time before Christmas to do all the things. Sunday will begin the week of Peace, which may feel out of reach for some of us. Advent Peace is different from other kinds of peace. Advent Peace is about those places where the human spirit and the Holy Spirit connect, even for a moment.

I encourage you to be open to such moments as they can sustain us through the more chaotic times. While you are paying attention to God’s movement in your life in the world around you, I encourage you to also take a few moments to attend to something new at Living Table.

As you probably know, we have a new church website. Erika spent 150+ hours creating this new site for us and it is amazing! However, it won’t work the way it is designed to work without your involvement.

Our site needs ongoing engagement. Take some time to browse the site. Notice the current Google Ads landing page. Familiarize yourself with the information on there.

Don’t stop at browsing, though. We need you to comment when something moves you. Read the various Announcements, Pastoral Notes, Holiday Posts, Other Ministries, and Tech News. Comment on some of those blog posts. Comment on anything that strikes you. Share some of them through email or social media. Do these things often, not just once. It’s important.

You might be wondering why I’m stressing this. Well, along with an amazing new website, Erika got us $10,000 a month worth of Google Ads for free. These ads will disappear if our site does not show continued engagement. So share and make comments – often!

We’re really hoping that this site and the free ads will bring new interest and new visitors to Living Table. Advent is the perfect season to welcome new folx and share the Peace we experience in community together.

We have a unique and amazing community. Let’s make every effort to reach others who could benefit from the gifts of this community. Imagine the Hope and Peace new folx could add to the blessings we already experience.
