This year, Living Table’s Advent theme is, “What are you waiting for?” Traditionally, Advent is a season of waiting for and anticipating Jesus’ birth. For the second week of Advent, we will focus on waiting for peace.

Join us December 4, 2022 at 10:30AM Central

You can join us in our newly renovated sanctuary in Minneapolis and you can join us from anywhere in the world, because we have fully interactive hybrid services via Zoom, and we really do try to prioritize accessibility. (Read about visiting Living Table for the first time.)

This year, as we explore the meaning of Advent together, we are warmly inviting not only folks who may have attended Living Table for years, and others who have only recently found us, but still others stopping in for the very first time too. We are inviting you.

What kind of church is Living Table?

Living Table UCC is a congregation that intentionally welcomes and includes queer and trans people, people seeking wellness and recovery, and believers, skeptics, and everyone in between who might be seeking community. This Advent season comes at the end of another trying year for many. If having a spiritual home or a place in a community that will absolutely accept you as you are sounds like something you need, please join us. You are not alone.

Do you have any questions? The comments are open below – feel free to use those. If you have a more personal question, you can email the pastor. To join us on Dec. 4 for Advent service on Peace, everything you need to know is under Sundays on the website menu. You’ll just need the Zoom passcode if you’re attending remotely – sorry but this is necessary. If you do not have the Zoom passcode, you can get it from any church member or staff, or use the quick contact form below.

May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in
harmony with one another, so that together you may with one voice glorify God.
